threatened frog speciesHave you heard the frogs calling?

We have, and it’s time for our annual frog monitoring to begin? but
We need volunteers to help us.

Monitoring is held 2 nights per week at various locations across the Sunshine Coast starting Tuesday 27th January through to the end of March 2015.

We normally monitor begween 6-8pm. All equipment is provided and this is a family friendly activity.

Monitoring is co-ordinated by an environmental scientist and volunteers are involved in identifying frogs through sightings and calls. No experience is needed.
We have sites this year at:

  1. Buderim
  2. Eewah Vale
  3. Yaroomba Bushland Reserve, Mt Coolum
  4. Dulong
  5. Noosa National Park – Perigian Site, Coolum

If you are interested in participating for one day or every day then please let us know ASAP by answering some questions about your availability and preferred monitoing sites through this link: or phone 07 54764777.

Please share with your networks and friends.

Hopping to hear from you soon!
