Understanding Landslips DVD

In parts of Queensland, inappropriate land clearing and water impoundment on certain soil formations have resulted in mass movement of land.  The impacts of these slips is increasingly evident with the degradation of waterways below these sites.

The Landslips DVD includes strategies for prevention and repair supplied by a number of practitioners, including Barung Revegetation officer Greg Smyrell, Gympie Landcare's Paul Marshall, and Graeme Elphinstone.

"Understanding Landslips" also follows up on the experience of the Gympie Landslip Management Projects in the early 90s, and shows how these sites have dramatically changed 15 years later

Background music from local vocalists and musicians, enhances the experience of being within the peaceful and graceful  flight of a bird, with the bird's eye view of stunning scenery, stunning photography.

Breathtaking; and leaving one in no doubt as to the what and why of conservation.

A really lovely gift for family and friends living overseas or interstate.  A lovely souvenir for visitors to take home with them.
