threatened frog speciesHave you heard the frogs calling?

We have, and it’s time for our annual frog monitoring to begin? but
We need volunteers to help us.

Monitoring is held 2 nights per week at various locations across the Sunshine Coast starting Tuesday 27th January through to the end of March 2015.

We normally monitor begween 6-8pm. All equipment is provided and this is a family friendly activity.

Monitoring is co-ordinated by an environmental scientist and volunteers are involved in identifying frogs through sightings and calls. No experience is needed.
We have sites this year at:

  1. Buderim
  2. Eewah Vale
  3. Yaroomba Bushland Reserve, Mt Coolum
  4. Dulong
  5. Noosa National Park – Perigian Site, Coolum
